Saraya Aqaba and W Amman win Mixed-use Development awards
Amman, Jordan – September 25, 2017: Eagle Hills Jordan won two coveted awards at the 26th Africa & Arabia Property Awards held last week at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai, UAE. Saraya Aqaba and W Amman were honoured in the Mixed-use Development category, competing against numerous industry players in what is considered the largest, most prestigious and widely recognised awards programmes in the region.
Commenting on the awards, Douglas Small, CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan, said: “As we continue working towards the completion and handover of a large portion of our projects currently being developed in the Kingdom, we strive to ensure that future residents and guests are welcomed with an experience that goes above and beyond their expectations. We at Eagle Hills Jordan are proud of the accolades that two of these projects; Saraya Aqaba and W Amman, have recently received, as this is yet another proof point of our dedication to ensuring timely delivery and reaffirming our commitment to our valued stakeholders.”
Located in Jordan’s only coastal city, Saraya Aqaba is a luxury mixed-use leisure and tourism destination set to redefine the standards of coastal living in Aqaba. Upon completion, the project will feature a diversified mix of over 850 high-end residential units, four luxury hotels, the city’s first conference centre and water park, and a variety of other leisure and commercial facilities. Already reaching numerous project milestones including the opening of mock-up units and completion of its iconic, centrally located lagoon, the project will soon witness the opening of one of its five-star hotels – Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, as well as the completion of its exclusive beach club and handover of residential units.
Situated in the country’s capital, W Amman is the first W brand hotel in Jordan and one of several hotels that Eagle Hills Jordan brings to the Kingdom. Likewise, The Skyline Residences serviced by W Amman boasts the highest residential living experience in the country with a perfect blend of services, style and state-of-the-art luxury. Once completed, the development is set to alter the surroundings at its location in Abdali. The hotel will offer 280 guest rooms and suites, and the residences will include 41 units that vary in size from 78 to 320 sqm. The project has been rapidly progressing over the past year with the launch of residential units, the opening of a fully-furnished mock-up apartment and the leasing of retail space at ‘The Skyline Luxury Retail’, whilst the finishing works on its exterior façade is nearing completion.
The Africa & Arabia Property Awards, now in their 26th year, are judged by an independent panel of 70 industry experts. Judging is chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, The Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso — all of whom are members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
