SARAYA AQABA SPONSORS THIRD GLOBAL NETWORK SUMMIT AND HOSTS GALA DINNER

Aqaba, Jordan – October 3, 2016Saraya Aqaba, a high-end, mixed-use tourism and leisure destination managed by real estate development company Eagle Hills Jordan, sponsored the Third Global Network Summit held by the Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA), a regional initiative aimed at developing a new generation of leaders in the Arab world. The event, which was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Noor bint Asem on behalf of HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, took place at various locations around the Kingdom, starting at the Dead Sea and ending in Aqaba.

As part of its sponsorship of the summit, Eagle Hills Jordan hosted a special gala dinner for the multinational participants on-site at Saraya Aqaba.
Commenting on the occasion, CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan Alaa Batayneh said, “We are proud to partner with MELA as sponsors for its Third Global Network Summit this year. As a company that is highly concerned with being active participants in social growth and change within the local community, we gladly extend our support to MELA in its vastly successful business-networking platform, the first of its kind in the Arab world, as a host of the educational, insightful activities of the summit.”

Batayneh went on to say that as members of an international company with a number of projects in key locations around the world, Eagle Hills Jordan deeply understands the intrinsic importance to business leaders of networking through efficient platforms that encourage knowledge sharing, facilitate work, connect innovative minds and help develop personal skills and abilities.

Recently, Saraya Aqaba has been making exponential progress as it pushes toward phase one completion at the end of next year. In August, following the launch of an on-site sales centre, opening of furnished mock-up units, and release of an exclusive selection of its residences for purchase, the project officially announced the full flooding of its centrally located lagoon, giving its residents, guests and the surrounding local community the ability to see the exquisite lifestyle on offer at the master-planned mixed-use tourism and leisure destination in the heart of Jordan’s port city of Aqaba.

The Global Networking Summit, held for the past two years in Tbilisi, Georgia and Sante Fe, New Mexico, is a learning, cultural exchange and enhanced networking platform developed by MELA and its four partner networks, each one focusing on business development and leadership empowerment in its respective region of the world.
