EAGLE HILLS JORDAN ENRICHES LOCAL COMMUNITY, SHOWCASING THE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL BEAUTY OF SARAYA AQABA THROUGH THE LENS OF A CAMERA

Aqaba, Jordan – June 5, 2016; Eagle Hills Jordan, in partnership with the specialised centre for photography Darat Al Tasweer, recently held a photography workshop and competition at its Saraya Aqaba project. As part of the training programme, six advanced-level photographers from Darat Al Tasweer were led in an outdoor workshop that focused on capturing the scenic, natural vista surrounding the central location of Saraya Aqaba.

The photo shoot was divided into four integral parts, including photos of the ongoing construction, the central lagoon, views of the Red Sea, and sunrise and sunset over Saraya Aqaba. The avid photographers highlighted both the interior and exterior architecture of its residences and sales centre, which exhibit a combination of Arabic design principles and a stylish, modern ambience. The workshop culminated in a social media competition on the Saraya Aqaba Facebook page, in which the winning photo was chosen and the respective photographer was awarded a camera.

Commenting on the occasion, Alaa Batayneh, CEO of Eagle Hills Jordan – the private investment company managing the development and operations of Saraya Aqaba – said: “We are elated to host this photography workshop on Saraya Aqaba’s premises as a way to show the community the inherent beauty that this project holds at its core, serving as testament to the inimitable lifestyle on offer. It is said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words,’ and through this creative event, we are hoping that we can show our future residents and guests the refined artistry and natural allure of Saraya Aqaba that words simply cannot explain.”

Batayneh went on to say that “In addition to Eagle Hills Jordan’s commitment to its developments in Aqaba, the company is also dedicated to actively engaging the local community as a way to further bolster its presence in both local and Kingdom-wide activities. Building on similar on-site activities that have been held at Saraya Aqaba, such as the exhilarating youth sail boat race and the family fun day, we hope to foster an increasingly deep relationship with members of the local community.”

The photography workshop and competition will serve to increase the exposure of Saraya Aqaba within the local and regional markets and establish visual testimony to the hard work carried out on the mixed-use tourism and leisure destination. The photos taken during the event were exhibited at a photo gallery hosted at the Eagle Hills showroom in the Um Uthayna area of Amman to show visitors the current progress of the project and the unmatched beauty that it embodies.
