Saraya Aqaba Completes the Annual University Scholarship Initiative for Students in Aqaba
For the twelve-consecutive year; Eagle Hills Jordan has announced the completion of the annual university scholarship initiative for Saraya Aqaba, which it has incurred the full educational expenses for a number of outstanding students – 15 scholarships for the current year – throughout their period of study.
In light of the Corona virus outbreak that prevailed the world and Jordan, the company took the decision to continue supporting the program under its social responsibility umbrella while taking this direct contribution to alleviate the burden of concerned students to fulfill their university education.
Mr. Abdallah Al Fraihat, Chief Executive Officer at Eagle Hills Jordan commented: “we continue providing our support towards our beloved Jordanians to fulfill our social responsibility to enhance the capabilities of youth in Aqaba while extending brighter future for them.” He also added: “Saraya Aqaba’s annual university scholarship program continues working under the exceptional circumstances that the world is going through which was reflected on Jordan as well, which eases us to join forces to give all the support for each other until this phase ends.”
It is worth mentioning that Saraya Aqaba’s annual university scholarship program comes in partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development as part of the righteousness and charity campaign held by Princess Basma Center for Development – Aqaba. The scholarship program began in 2007 were it aims to support outstanding students in Aqaba by providing them educational opportunities to motivate them towards specialties that the future labor market needs. The total number of beneficiaries of Saraya Aqaba’s annual university scholarship program has reached (94) male and female students spread over various official universities.
